Join us for a SPECIAL EVENT Friday July 22, 2016 on the rooftop of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art

Members from the Willy Street Chamber Players are  excited to be partnering with visual artist Helen Hawley the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) to present George Crumb’s monumental work “BLACK ANGELS: Thirteen Images from the Darkland” for electric string quartet on the evening of Friday July 22, 2016.  Written in response to the Viet-Nam War, this avant-garde work requires players to amplify their instruments, speak with their mouths, perform with extended techniques, play on crystal glasses, and more.   Don't miss this must-see event of the summer!  Concert will be outdoors weather permitting.
